New Problems

Well if you read my story on the virus i cleaned my partition on my harddrive and it still likes to reboot on its own so its gotta be hardware anyone have some suggestions on what it might be im gonna take it into a computer technician hopefully tommorow but if its my processor i might just say **** it and get more then that

 

I've read your threads. It doesn't look like you ever completed anything chaslang and bjgarrick asked you to do.How can you say with any certainty that it isn't spyware, malware or virus related.

In a previous thread I asked your to do a memory test. Did you do that? If you aren't going to complete the steps that you are asked to do. No one in this forum is going to be able to figure out what is the problem.

 

please tell me this how am i supposed to do a ram test without being able to boot up? im on a friends computer not mine and if you read correctly "when im trying to install windows xp pro it reboots on its own when i get to first page after boot from cd" so ya im highly doubtful that its a virus seeing i have no partition or anything to launch into like windows.

 

You DL the link I gave you to Memtest86+. Burn it to CD from your friends computer. Put it in the CD Drive. Boot your computer from CD. Obviously your computer can boot, since your are able to get to the first Windows Install screen on the CD. This is not a DOS or Windows System CD. If you can boot the XP cd then you can boot this cd and run the tests.
