Hello all, I am having a problem installing a new processor. My mother board is the following http://www.giga-byte.com/MotherBoard/Products/Products_GA-8INXP.htm

I am trying to put in a 2.8ghz with a 533 mhz bus speed and 1mb cache. Based on that it should work with my motherboard. Is there anything else I have to do or should it just boot right up after installing the chip?

dont forget heatsink fan for your cpu! also thermal grease would be good idea unless if your processor is retail which comes with heatsink fan that has thermal pad then you wont need thermal grease on top of your processor. what excatly problem your having?
