    hey all,

The 6BA+ appear's to be max at 550mhz
You would probably be better off Investing in a new MOBO, Etc.
Gamer? go NForce chipset/DDR memory,AMD cpu.

ok yeah i was think that to... so would i have to buy all new ram? and does a mobo come with a prossessor? i was looking at newegg and i saw: a lan party ut nf3 250gb mobo that takes the 754 amd cpu... i would have to buy this and a prossesor right..total cost?? or should i be looking for a spicific one? i am a gamer but on a tight budget...could you give me some good deals out there??

i have seen that the amd prossesors are alot less mhz compaired to intel. should i get a 1.7 (i think it is)amd or a 2.6intel?

The reason is amd has a different method of processing and does twice the work compared to a p4 per clock cycle. Thats why amds have comparitive rating numbers. My amd 2500 performs like a 2.5 p4.
