New Psu

I am looking to upgrade my psu, i currently have CIT 700 w psu and i am looking at this

Any experience or advice for me concerning this psu?

Budget £100 (if you want to recommend others)

I have a Corsair TX750W and it's awesome

There is the Corsair HX750W which is the same but modular.

But have you had any experience with cooler master psu's?

They have a so-so reputation here in the US. Reviews I read show they seem to have a higher failure rate.

I have OCZ Stealth Extreme 600watts in 2 of my systems.

I have installed one of these in a build i did for someone (they requested it)

One of the plus points is that you can use just enough cables to do the job which makes for a tidy routing of them.

I have also read the reports that they have a higher than normal fail rate when pushed hard.

I use an ASUS “Vento” U-75HA (750W), not as tidy but very reliable.

 

Here's a good PSU guide that someone posted up a few days ago. I have had good results with Antecs and Thermaltakes and I am now running a Corsair TX750W, it's quiet and cool running 24/7. All have models in your price/power range.

 

I would limit my choices to either Corsair or Sea Sonic!

 

Fortron Source and Seasonic are OEMs and produce most if not all PSUs.

Furthermore, it is important to do reviews of recommended brands, as even they have the best and the average, in their lineup...
