new ram

hi, just bought myself a new computer. http://www.gateway.com/systems/product/529668210.php

i have to upgrade the ram to make the 64 bit vista worth it. computer only came with 3gb. i was looking around at some new ddr3 and i see there is pc3 10600, 10666, and 12800 when i look around on newegg. does it matter what i get or will any of it work?

 

Ooooh, an i7 rig.:drool Just go to crucial.com and run their scanner. It will tell you what you have and recommend upgrades. Of course, you don't have to buy from there.

Yeah, that G-Skil from Newegg ought to do ya just fine!! I went back to check just to make sure!! However, when you order that new RAM, could you get it in blue, instead of red? I mean, just in case!!! I like blue better!!:-D Good luck with your new 'monster!!'
