New sticky threads

May I suggest to the moderators that 3 sticky threads ( in software forum), be written to cover:-

Slow startup of XP
Slow shutdown of XP
Clear History and cookies, all WIN systems.

Stickies on these subjects would, hopefully, reduce the number of times that these threads appear, assuming of course that people read them. Bazza

I like the clear history and temp files ideas. The other ones are kinda of hard to generlize

 

I tend to agree, but I see other issues far more often, and we would have two pages of stickies if we stuck em

Furthermore the sticky I have up there is by request for my job and will be coming down soon. I am trying to track down what is either a bug, or driver problem.

 

Looks like my suggestion is outvoted. Tried accessing FAQ to see what is there, but it crashed "problem with MG forum database, email sent to mod", or similar message. Bazza

 

I'd rather sticky the search button
