New system - Trouble...

Hi all!

I spent a ton of money on my still unfunctional new machine (currently using the old one).

It consists of:

Moterboard: MSI k8n Master2-far
CPU: 2x AMD Opteron 270 2GHz-processors
Graphics: Club 3d 7900gtx 512mb GDDR3 256bit Dual DVI

...And of course 2GB RAM, HD, DVD-drive etc...

My Screen is a CRT LG studioworks n2200p.

I assembled it in a standard Antec tower with a 500 watt power supply.

- And it doesnt work.

The coolers all run on top speed, making it sound like a vacuum-cleaner, but that is all that happens.
No screen reaction or anything.

Have anyone any idea as to what could be wrong? Why does the screen not react, when i turn everything on?

 

Does the fan in your power supply running ???

Does the fan on top of the CPU fan run ???

Did you see a light on the motherboard ???

Does the fan on your video card run ???

 

I believe that the fans running at top speed are doing so because there is no bios loaded to control them.
