new tab is not google

    I have firefox 6
    and when I go to open a new tab it goes to BING



    i want it to go to GOOGLE

    my homepage is set as google
    when firefox starts it is set as blank
    when I go to TOOLS-->OPTIONS-->tabs there is no setting for opening a new tab

    how do I get a new tab to open to GOOGLE?
