New Tab

I have FireFox 51.0.1 and if I have a WebSite open I click on the New Tab + and a Blank White Page opens.
How do I set a WebPage to be opened?

I did google it but when I go into my FireFox settings I do not see anything.

 

To my knowledge you cannot set a New Tab to open a webpage.
Just click a bookmark in the Favourites bar with the mouse scroll wheel - a New Tab with that webpage will open.

 

... or press Ctrl while clicking a Favorite

 

Most of the time i just block it from popping up be cause of ad's.

 

Most of the time I use the new tab when I want to do a Google search while I have another tab open (like MG's Support Forums). But, I also use right click a link -> Open in new tab.

 

To open a new tab that is a duplicate of the current page, press and hold down the Alt key, then press D and then the Enter key. (alt+d, alt+Enter)

You are seeing a blank page because that is the way the new tab is currently configured, but that can be changed.
The new tab page in Firefox 51.0.1 can be changed and configured by clicking the gear icon in the upper right corner of the page.
