    hey guys

im a bit of a noob wen it comes to programming and am just looking for a bit of advice.

a company i work for has asked me if i can learn to program and they would like to create 1 program that can start off many over programs.. e.g. regedit so the technicians can just use 1 program to access most things they would use.

what software would i be best off using?

    cheers

You're message is a little ambiguous, so I can't quite understand what it is you need. Is it for maintenance purposes? You say the technicians need to access functions like regedit.

I can't find it, since I suspect Vista doesn't have it, but can anyone remember the name of that thing in Control Panel (think it's in administrative tools) where you can add all those snap-ins to your profile?

If you're looking for just a collection of shortcuts (to maintenance tools like regedit), you can go that route; or you can make it super-easy by finding the programs you want to shortcut to, and then placing all the shortcuts in a folder called "Maintenance" on your desktop or something.

If I failed to help at all, I'm afraid I didn't understand your question. Sorry about that.
