I'm a newby when it comes to this Media Center stuf!!

Last light I recorded some live t.v., and stupid me...instead of recording each one hour show individually...I recorded them all back to back into one, three hour chunk!! Now my niece is wanting me to make her a copy of ONE of the shows that she missed last night, and guess what...I can't for two reasons!!!! I would just burn the whole 3 hrs onto the disc, because she probably would watch all three shows, but the file is too big, even if you tell it to try and shrink it!!!! So then I'm left with trying to cut that one hour out that I need and just burn that....if that is possible, and if so...how would you go about editing that three hour segment I recorded????

    Nevermind...I got it!!!!

Stupid me...once I figured out where the media center stores the files it creates...I just imported it into my Sonic program (which I don't really like, but that's another story) and there I was able to edit and burn it as an mpeg2 file!!
