I posted this over at cooling and modding but got no reply. I was thinking about it, and it might be more of a hardware problem anyways. But here's my question.

I have a boring old dell mini tower. I want to change it up and get a new tower. Now if I got a different mini tower, would my dell system fit in it? I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions as well to doing this or things to keep in mind. Thanks in advance for your help. You guys are the best.

    Cheers,
    Mike

Take out the good ol' measuring tape and take down some dimensions and then make sure you have enough bays for hard drives and cd-roms n' such.

Most of the cases have the holes for differant boards. You line your board up with the right holes.then install spacers, and board.I'm sure others will post, But like I said most cases will support more than one board. Good Luck

Yea, that should be easy enough. You might want to google for instruction on how to build a computer if you never built one before.
