New toy...looking for cool (FREE) software!!

Well my wife got me a new pda phone!! An XV6700, which is awesome, by BTW!!!!

Meanwhile I am looking for a good place for free (decent) software for windows mobile 5.0...most importantly a mapping software, like "Streets & Trips" that would not require me to connect to the internet to acquire maps/directions. Is there such a thing, or am I dreaming?? I know I would periodically need to download updates, etc., but I mean that would allow me to look up a map or directions on the spot without an internet connection.

Otherwise...what else is out there that you have found to be a nice addition to your mobile software...even games for that matter!?!?

Any thoughts/ideas/input!?!?
