For those of you who don't know, I am also an amateur photographer and love to show off my work.

A friend of mine (also co worker) pointed me to this site (no worries, nothing like here) where you can show off your pics and even have a chance at getting published.

    I'm at http://www.jpgmag.com/people/DaddyB

If you like taking pics, and I know there are some others here who do, it's well worth checking out.

For a good laugh, go to the Themes page and click on the Title Me theme. As you go through the pics, check out the suggestions in the comments, it's freaking hysterical.

Mods, I posted here as opposed to the links as I was more interested in starting convo about photography and such by using that site as a reference, if you need to move this thread, it's all good with me. Been a bit, so I may be a bit rusty as to what goes where :)

You like that?? I found that place out in the middle of nowhere Upstate, NY and fell in love with it.

No idea who lives there or how it came about like that. Just loved that house :)

Aye, it's really unconventional. It looks as though it defies all the laws of gravity. :confused

I also liked the photo of you and your dad, Fred G. ;)
In all seriousness, I really hope I'm as active at that age.

Is it me, or does this wee fella look like he would just love to chew your head off?

Yeah, I sort of liked the house too. It reminds me of the 'Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe!!' No, not the woman...the house!! It sorta looks like a shoe! Com'on, use your imagination!!:-D

Yeah, The Burrow is cool! :cool Where in upstate did you find it (if you remember)?

"Rich men's houses are seldom beautiful, rarely comfortable, and
never original. It is a constant source of surprise to people of
moderate means to observe how little a big fortune contributes to
    Beauty."

Nah he tolerates my hobby... and as much as I like Fred, gotta say that I'll keep my dad who he is.. LOL

I think that the Burrow is located about 9 miles north east of Oxbow, NY on County Route 10. Not 100% tho. My dad is going to be on the ride this year, if I remember to ask him, I think he'll be able to get me a GPS fix on the location so I can get a better idea. Tried using Google Maps, but that area isn't very detailed.

LOL @ Stubby... I can sort of see it now......

I keep adding more shots as I take them, added a few today that are more noir-ish, gritty and urban... wow, can't believe I got that out with a straight face.

    OK, time for bed... ttyl
