New Toy

WOOOHOOO!!!! I got a new toy!! Every year when I get my tax check, I allow myself to splurge and buy a new toy. THis year I decided that it was time to upgrade my digi cam. I have been getting back into the photography thing again and my old POlaroid MP3 Camera just doesn't cut it (It's only about 6 years old and is pre-megapixel).

I got a Kodak Z740 5megapixel cam. I was looking at the one below it at Walmart and then was searching online and found this one for a lot less than Wally World wanted for the Z710, and that was after I added a 1gig card to the order. Anyways, stock pic attached. I can't wait, now I have to go out and get a white sheet for backdrops so I can photoshop to my heart's content.

I want a new camera. My current one four megapixel and i want somthing a bit more than that. I have fgound a real cheap 7 meg camera that looks nice Mine seams to be almost falling apart now and the picture quality has lowered for some reason :S

LOL.... never realized we had a bunch of photofreaks on here.

My grandfather was a professional photog, so I guess it's in the blood. I love taking pics and playing with them and with the advent of digi cams, it makes it easier because I don't have to spend $$ getting the film developed to see if I like the pics I took

I figured with the numbering of my camera, it’s a Fujifilm S7000 FinePix…the first year I took just over 5500 photos, which would have been way too much money spent on my 35mm camera…….wobbles

….just looked at the last photos from Saturday night, and we’re at 2856 shots in the new year…..

 

YAY!!! It's here, I already started taking pics with it, now I Have to take the time to read the manual and learn how to really use it to its potential. Then I have to set up the software on the PC so I can get the pics off the cam

Yeah, the batteries tehy sent with it were crap, so I dropped $20 on some energizer e2 rechargables. They are plugged in now, waiting for them to charge. Then I can get soem nice texture photos for wallpapers and such (also of the H3 at the garage next door that soemone tore the rear end out of, wait, you'll see)
