New user-Hello

    Hello to all,
    I'm new at posting and tech challenged on the workings of a computer. I've seen MajorGeeks when I do my updates on SpyBot, but thought I would give this a try to learn more about the computer workings so be patient with me. One of the directions you could help me in is with my Toshiba laptop that the fan seems to run all the time. It seems to have killed my battery in that at full charge, it only lasts about 5 minutes. I've seen a couple of things about it but have not found anything complete about it.
    I look forward to learning.
