new user who needs help.

I am a new member and have 3 known files on a window XP PC that won't go away.

I been using Uniblues full program to try to fix the issues.

My Computer seems to run slower and certain files won't open ie.. adobe premiere cs3 which had been running fine until two weeks ago. Nothing knew was added to the machine which I am aware of.

3 files that I know of that won't go away are:

689211B7.tmp
CB82Cb42.TMP

C:\DOCUME~1\VALUED~1\LOCALS~1\TEMP\2cb1_APPCOMPAT.txt

any known problems with viruses/malware? might want to run through these steps:

run through the Ccleaner steps from the above link, and maybe ccleaner's registry tool.

 

Thanks for your help, every time I try to open premiere pro CS3 and the loading starts but will not complete the last step. The error message occurs you referenced and it won't let me copy and paste it. Is there something else I should try?

Having Trouble with Sonic Update Manager, it comes on and tries to download then askes for a CD with that info on it. Would be grate ful if someone would e-mail me a solution to angle0138@msn.com
