New Video card time, thinking 1 of 2 HD 7950 but I have a problem

I'm thinking it’s time to update my system but I really I don't see the point it changing my CPU or my motherboard as its still quite fast

Intel i7 920, D0 @4.2
Asus P6T Deluxe V2
6GB (3x2GB) Corsair XMS3 DDR3
Gainward GTX 295 V2

I got that back in Sep 03, 2009!

I think the main problem my system has is my old GTX 295 video card
Half the time I can't use the SLI function as it crash's Guild wars...Guild wars 2... known bug with older SLI so I’m having to run it as a single card so it’s not the best at high rez

After looking around I have been able to find a card that seems like it’s the right fit for me and that’s the Sapphire HD 7950 Vapor-X OC or HIS 7950 IceQ X2

I have been able to find them for £240 and it’s based on a custom 7970 pcb and overclocks Just as well as the 7970 if not more

I may have a concern here about this cards

The Sapphire has two DVI connectors 1 Dual-Link DVI-I and the other Single-Link DVI-D

Now I have two Samsung syncmaster 2343 both run at 2048x1152

Now it says on the Sapphire site that this cards Single-Link DVI-D has a max resolution of 1920x1200

Does this mean that I'm not going to be able to use one of my monitors at the correct rez?

Will the HIS 7950 IceQ X? be a better card for this?

But saying that the HIS site also says that the 2x mDP only go up to 1920x1200...

What the heck.... what do you do if you have a 2 high rez monitors
