I haven't had the time to keep up on the latest video cards out there, but I would like to get help selecting a new one. My main goal is to be able to view my pc through a new LCD tv so I think I would want something with a HDMI output?? My kids like games, but not the big ones yet. We're still on the Hot Wheels and Webkin stuff. I do know I have a PCI Express slot. So if anyone has a couple of favorites to suggest, my ears are open, thanks

You can go with HDMI, if you dont mind paying $40 for a 6ft cable. If your TV has VGA, or DVI these platforms will provide good video quality and the cables will be less expensive.

Setting up the video card for dual monitors you'll probably want to use a "dual-view" setup which allows each monitors to have it's own resolution. In my set up I have a 19 flat pannel monitor at 1280x1024 and my TV 1360x768, I use a VGA cable for my TV, unless your parked right in front of it, there's no distortion, or ghosts. Also consider the size of your TV, the larger the TV, the easier it will be to notice defects in the video. Mine is only a 26", size does matter. HDMI will, however, provide the BEST quality. Any digital signal will basicaly give you the quality your looking for, and DVI and HDMI fall into that category.
