new vidio card problems

my FPS with a 64 mb card was better then my new card,256 mb (fx5700) when running counterstrike. also when I did counterstrikes, "video stress test" I got this error "Th einstruction at "0x2417b425" referenced memoory at "0x00669470". The memory could not be read". When running 3dmark's benchmark it tripled my score... anybody know what the deal is?

WHAT BOARD YOU USING HAVE YOU UPDATED YOUR CHIPSET MOTHERBOARD DRIVERS.
find out make of board model number and maybe even chipset and then go to your motherboard manufacters site and see if you have the latest drivers for your chipset on your mother board worth a shot if its msi board try live update others i dont know it often will update your agp drivers sounds like the possible culpret
