    I have just installed a TDK r/w and when I put a dvd in, the screen says I need a plug in to view. I have installed everything that I can think of and still no help. Could some one PLEASE help me. Thank you

    Are you talking about a dvd with movie on it. If so do you have a dvd program that came on a disk: Power dvd, Win dvd. These are Dvd player programs to watch a movie you must have a codec for windows or one of those programs.
