I need to wipe out my hard drive and start over. I have so much stuff running behind the scenes, etc. that I just want to start over. Should I use KillDisk or what? More importantly, how should I save the info, contacts, bookmarks, etc. that I have on my puter now? Any tips!..THANKS in advance!

Yeah... knowing which version of Windows you're using makes a huge difference, so does knowing which browser you use (different browsers save your 'Favorites' or 'Bookmarks' differently). As to your 'contacts'... this depends on if you use the Windows Address Book, or if you're using something like Outlook Express (not to be confused with Outlook which is part of Office). If you use Outlook Express (or Outlook), you might want to save your emails to be imported back in to the clean Windows installation. A lot of stuff that people like to save usually ends up in 'My Documents' by default. Generally, all your music, pictures, Word/Excel stuff, etc., is saved to 'My Documents' by default. Even iTunes will create it's own folder in your 'My Music' folder. If you use Kodak software for your pictures, they actually get saved in a shared location not in 'My Documents' or in 'My Pictures'. So, as you can see, we really do need to know a lot more about your particular software environment in order to offer any accurate advice.
