newbie needs some help

i am looking for a program that helps to download other programs. when downloading a program it will start up where it left off if disconected.
i know there is such a program because i had one a long time ago but dont remember the name, and acant search for one cause i cant desribe it for search engines.
please email me at snipped i would be most thankful

It's called a download manager , plenty of them here at Major Geeks. I don't use them but others will chime in on their favourites.

BTW, no one will e-mail you as that defeats the forum's purpose which is the sharing of information and opens you up to tons of spam. Perhaps a mod will take pity on you. Check back often.

thanx for the help, igave my email cause i didnt know how long it would take to get a reply.
and if the guy needing help with pdf, you should highlight document and change the font in the topbox

If you look at your first post over to the right you will see a button labeled Thread Tools. When you click on it, one of the choices will be Subscribe to this thread. You then get an email any time someone replies to the thread so you don't need to keep checking.
When your problem has been solved, you can unsubscribe from the thread so the emails stop.
