NewEgg Crazy Deal

Well, I've had my old T400s for a looooong time which I salvaged, tore down, cleaned, and rebuilt from scratch, so to speak (W7U,SSD,RAM). It's in great shape and has served me well, however, it's getting up there in years and just doesn't have the throughput to do what I need it to anymore.

Got her up and running.

This PC not only has 1GB nVidia 880 graphics, it has FOUR RAM slots (two under the keyboard) and USB 3.0. The dock is loaded, with six USB 2.0 ports and multiple video ports. Dropped in my old OCZ SSD and 8GB of RAM and it's pretty much off to the races. Boots insanely quick, and I'll be populating the other two RAM slots in the future.

I think this was an insanely good deal.

The only drawback with SSDs has been price per GB, but that's becoming a thing of the past nowadays.

First thing I loaded into it was my Atari 5200 emulator. :-D
