I've got a Toshiba DX735-3201 All-In-One computer with a Nexxtech 1511217 USB to HDMI adapter. It was working fine with the second display (a Samsung monitor) attahed, until one morning it suddenly had the displays extended instead of mirrored. Extended it's working fine, but I want them mirrored, and when I go into the Windows display properties it only gives me the options of Extend Displays, Show only on 1, and Show only on 2. Something weird, is that if I go into the Intel Graphics Control Panel, it's only recognizing the primary (All-In-One) screen. I've uninstalled/reinstalled the USB adapter drivers, and the Intel Display drivers, but I can't seem to get it to work mirrored. I tried the adapter on another desktop computer I have, and it worked fine, so clearly it's something with the Toshiba. I know it worked before, so I'm kind of stumped. Any ideas?

Windows 10 update seems to be interfering a lot with standard settings- this could be another glitch- I have it with Lenova webcam, after a late update, which will not work until I can find another driver.
    This might help solve it

You have not said which version of Windows you are using, but if it is w10.....

That would have shipped originally with Windows 7 so we need to know if it was upgraded prior to this problem.

Sorry I should have mentioned, it's running Windows 10 x64 (upgraded from 7), but it was working with 10 installed. Here's some other new info also, I noticed it wasn't showing the second monitor in the Intel Graphics Control Panel, so I completely uninstalled the Intel video drivers and software, and it worked fine. Only problem was, that obviously with no drivers the resolution was a mess. As soon as I reinstall the Intel stuff, back to extended only. I also tried it on two different computers, one running AMD video and the other Intel, and it worked on both of the others perfectly, with no additional drivers etc requiring to be installed. Both of the test rigs were also running WIn 10 x64.

I have found Windows 10 sometimes not the best with drivers, as you have found. Some updates seem to create a little havoc ,and a driver, like yours, will not work, as they used to. That one seems to be a Windows 10 basic driver.
    I ,also, have w10 64,

I would recommend running a scan with DriverTalent which I find the safest driver updater program. I suggest you make sure settings are configured to search latest 'stable' drivers.

I'll give that a shot, weird that it works on the other two machines with the basic drivers though huh?

I know this thread is super old, but I've put this machine back in the rotation, but still facing the same problem. Anybody feel like kicking it up again? Still exact same scenario as above, except I'm running the most current Windows 10 x64 updates and DisplayLink drivers. I also tried it with a USB to VGA adapter (Trigger +), and it has the exact same problem. Sooooo... the issue seems to lie in Windows and not the adapter(s) drivers. Thoughts?
