nf2s-alh manual

i was installing a new CPU fan on my buddies computer when it took a crap
i think it might be the power supply
it turns on for about 5 seconds then shuts off
b4 the new fan it would run for about 10 to 20 min b4 it shut off and we thought it might be the cpu over heating...hence the new fan
also there is a question i have about the board he has
its a NForce 2 NF2S-ALH
theres two led's on the board one in the bottom corner one in the top
i looked around for an owners manual and couldnt find one
any one know what these are for

NForce2 is the name of the chipset on the board could you give us a manufactuer and model number?

The 5 second shut off thing could be because you don't have the new fan connected to the proper header on the mobo, the system thinks there is no cpu fan and shuts the system down.

The 10 to 20 min shut down could be a number of things but check the fan connection first and post back.

Post your full system specs or the brand and model with number.

its a pine tech nf2s-ahl
im sure the fan is plugged in properly bc its working properly and in the same slot as the old fan was
i checked teh connection two or three time as well
i have another powere supply i dug up so ill give that a try over the weekend
if u need any mroe info let me know

Ok here is what I found out, pine tech is XFX but they don't have a download for your manual for your board but there is some info about it and they also have tec support.

Try swaping the psu and see what happens that a good start

Is this a custom build? just asking cause I never herd of these boards.

its a guy i work withs comp
he built it peice by peice upgrading as he went along
whats a psu?
u mean cpu or?

Psu is the power supply you mentioned you have another try it.
