NForce 4 onboard sound no center channel

Anyone had this problem? I have 5.1 logitechs, ive been searching forums and google for the past hour and cant find a solution, ive seen plenty of people have the problem. My audigy 2 screws windows up and the onboard 8.1 channel wont give me center sound. ERRRRRRRRR

 

If your using onboard, you shouldn't be using audigy 2 and vice versa, you will encounter driver conflicts. Audigy 2 ZS only supports 7,1 (5.1 if your using just Audigy 2). Not sure how many channels are supported by your onboard Nforce 4 board. Your audigy 2 is superior to your onboard sound in many different ways, so just stick with that one, go to BIOS and disable your onboard audio.

 

Whenver I isntalled the audigy 2 drivers the whole system would lock when windows was loading, im afraid to try it again I might go for it but damn I hate to go through that again.

 

lock up happens when you DONT disable your onboard, it has to be disabled through device manager and / or BIOS. You also need to uninstall previous sound drivers from your nforce board. This ALL has to happen before installing audigy 2, also your having conflicts in your interface right now because you have an unknown PCI interface card installed w/o drivers (your audigy 2)

 

The audigy isnt in, the onboard was disabled. I could try installing the drivers before the audigy is in but nothing went wrong until I installed the drivers, im going to battle with it again tonite, i'll let you know what happens.

 

AHAHHAHHAHAHAH I got it working!!!! There is a gameport that is seperate from the onboard sound I think was conflicting, I installed and disabled that and I am jammin now HELL YES!!!!
