Nice, Found A Shooting School

Woots! Found a place nearby that offers a variety of shooting areas, and classes! Heck, I might even wind up joining my UK friends, and join a shooting club. :-D

 

No, they need to go to school to be up to my level. :-D

Actually, it is helpful to have someone watch you shoot, so they can help you improve your shooting. This club also has more interactive ranges. Most ranges have you stand still, and shoot at a stationary target. Others have reactive targets, and you can move around while shooting. Many places are a bit leery of someone they don't know, for obvious safety reasons. Some places also offer armorer classes as well.

LoL, the school is at a range. The other ranges around here only let you shoot in one spot, no drawing the weapon, no moving... Great for setting the sites, and getting used to a gun. Dynamic type shooting (my own made up term) is a lot more fun, and lot harder. You also have to find a place that will let you do it. See video above. :-D

I do have a couple hundred rounds for the .45 I plan on shooting at the boring range this weekend. Will need some stress relief after having to work during the lame and stupid mardi gras parade Saturday night.

Going to test some Rusky ammo Sunday. I hope it shoots well, at $14.00 a box of 50, is a great deal. Dang indoor range charges almost $30 for a box of 50 FMJ off brand bullets... No thanks.
