or use CCleaner ( free ) to do a cleanup, to do this install and run the app then click Cleaner > Analyze then Run Cleaner.

those routines remove any corrupt temp files or cookies.


you can also run a cleaner for the DNS cache which houses lists of IPs for websites this can become corrupt and lead to "page not found" errors,

click Start > Run and type or copy an paste this ipconfig /flushdns < the bold bit only, do note the space between the g and / and hit OK or Enter.
