   thanks for your help. removed trojan services.exe. device manager dialog box empty now. can't seem to get any sound, doesn't recognize drivers..etc. I'm at the end of my knowledge of this stuff, need help, restore points don't even come up. I have downloaded several programs from this site. but i am at a dead end.
