NIS 2007 disabled at start up

    I am working on a Dell Laptop 1501 with Win XP. I have NIS 2007 install and up to date. Most of the time I will start the laptop and all loads fine. However, sometimes I will start the laptop and NIS 2007 will not load. I go into Services and all Symantec programs are disabled. The NIS will not start when I reboot until I set to automatic in Services. I ran a full scan with NIS and it's okay. Any ideas what is causing this. Thanks.

    Hi

    As you have done the steps I would have initially thought of running as in setting the Symantec services to Automatic and that didnt fix it, I can only think of either a re-install of NIS 2007 or running the below steps from Symantec to see if another application is conflicting.


    A fixtool and the steps for running the OS with only MS and Symantec services to troublehoot this.
