I have 3 PCs, and my ISPs whatever box, connected by CAT5 cables to a switch .

All have internet access with dynamic IPs obtained from ISP.

Windows XP Pro and Windows 98SE. They all find eachother when browsing the private LAN - as long as Norton Internet Security aint running. Apperantly NIS blocks any attempt to browse my private LAN, from within the LAN.

How do I set up NIS to allow private LAN browsing, from within the private LAN, without compromising internet security? Doing so with static IPs doesnt present a problem but then I would loose internet access.

    Help?
