Nivida Drivers Won't Install

I just re-formatted my Win98SE machine and when I went to install the drivers for my GeForce2 Ultra (driver version 77.72) it said that 'setup cannot find a Nivida graphic chip on this computer and install will terminate!' Now the weird part is that I can install the 44XXX series drivers with no problems, but since this machine is going to be used strictly for my games, I'd like to have some later drivers. Any ideas as to why I'm getting that error message? THANKS!!!! BTW, I don't know if this matters, but I have both machines running through a KVM.

 

Darn, guess what I forgot to install....yeah, the MB drivers!! Thanks ALOT Major Attitude, that did the trick. I was so careful to install everything, but I completely forgot about those the MB drivers. Once I installed them, the Nivida drivers went in with no problem. Again, thanks. You saved me from pulling out what little hair I have left!!
