No Add Ons?

    My Internet Explorer tells me it is running without add ons. Many features no longer work such as Java, You Tube, etc. How do I get the add ons back? I have a Dell 8600 Inspirion lap top, 1 gig memory, windows xp with service pack 2. It won't tell me what version of Internet Explorer I have; all I can get is Internet Explorer (No Add Ons) I know it is one of the latest editions if not the latest. Can someone please help??? confused Thanks

    How are you starting IE, through your desktop or start programs list? I noticed that if I start from the list mine runs with no add-ons.
