Hello. I am new here so I'm sure I will ask a couple of dumb questions. I bought the wife a new basic computer from Best Buy....Gateway 838Gm. I downloaded the AIDA32 like the forum said. The problem is I can't get any sound from the computer. Not being a computer guru I don't know what to do. The comp says it has the Intel Corp D915 GAG motherboard and Legacy Audio Driver. When I go to control panel under sound it says No Audio Device. Any ideas? Any help would be appreciated.

damn I'm an idiot, I missed the part when he said Gateway 838gm, otherwise I would have directed him to gateway's site. That's what happens when you are distracted by your brother playing music at 120db in the background :)

No your advice was sound... I would have said same thing and do as Everest is a great app for finding all info out about your PC.
