No Audio in Windows Media Player

    Hi,
    I cannot get sound from WMP when I play a DVD. I have a lot of downloaded audio books in the library and they are fine. I rolled back WMP 11 to version 9 but when I opened the programme it automatically upgraded to version 11 and still the same problem. I am running XP pro and using soundmax. I have real player installed but I want to fix WMP. Any ideas appreciated.:confused
