    Hello,

I am using Win XP Pro and have a DVD r/rw drive. I was given several DVD instruction videos which I can see but not hear. Any ideas?

My audio is "built-in" and is called "Realtek AC97". I can play CD's with sound and view pictures but when I try a DVD all I can do is see it w/o sound. For software I have "Sonic DVD" and "Roxio 7.1 DVD builder" which contains a "Player" too. I also tried using Windows Media Player and it brings up a "Troubleshooter" and contains this message:

Windows Media Player cannot play DVD video. Open Display in Control Panel, and then lower your screen resolution and color quality settings. To view the DVD Troubleshooter, click More Information.

    HELP!
