I've been looking around at previous threads with the exact same problem but still can't find a fix to the problem I have listed in the title. Could anybody help me out? I'm far from a expert in computers so explain in layman's terms would be greatly appreciated.

The problem first occurred when I was idiotic and deleted my audio output device, I had no idea what I was doing it was stupid of myself. This was a very long time ago so going back to a restore point is near impossible as I can't remember and want to avoid a long one at all cost. All I can seem to remember is my output device was made by Realtek.

I Have a HP Pavillion and model number is a6632uk and I'm on Windows Vista.

The reason why I didn't try to fix this issue when I deleted the audio output device is because I found a temporary fix but plugging speakers into the audio jack. But now the temporary fix doesn't work so I need to get this audio device sorted pronto.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as to what I have to do/download.

It looks like this would be the driver for your sound card. Make sure it is first, but installing this again should fix the problem.

    Hi

You should never attach your question to someone else's thread. It confuses the issue, plus, you will not get the attention for your own question.

So I'm going to ask you to start a new thread with as many details as possible regarding your issue.

    Thanks.:)

    Really guys?

    http://www.majorgeeks.com/SlimDrivers_d6737.html

I can't say this enough. Drivers provided by manufacturers (Dell, HP, Compaq, Toshiba, etc) are usually offered late (meaning they are not the newest drivers) and most do not update them after a year typically meaning if your PC is a couple years old you are not getting the correct drivers. Use SlimDrivers, make an account and do all your drivers.

    Let me know.
