Help! A while back I was trying to get my computer to recognize a Sony Camcorder through a IEEE connection, it wouldn't. I bought a new Sony camcorder with the disc rather than the tape. I have got the video moved to the computer, edited it and was going to burn it to a dvd now but when I go into Pinnacle Quickstart and try to burn it I get this "No disc writer device found"
I did have to format after all the problems with the other Sony camcorder so I'm sure this has something to do with this but I'm unsure how to locate the burner again, it use to work fine. I tried to un-install and reboot the computer but I get the same thing and I'm unsure of the brand of burner in order to get drivers if that is the problem. Any suggestions would be helpful.
    I run WinXP home
    Internet Explorer 7 (which I don't like)
Not sure if there is anything else I need to tell anyone in order to get help.
Thanks all for any help you can give.
