I tried to connect my monitor via DVI instead of analog. I get a no input signal message for the DVI connection while the Analog works fine. I tested the video card (GForce 5200) and it passed all the tests. The monitor senses the DVI connection since I would get a cable disconnected meesage otherwise. I installed the latest NVidia drivers.

You would have to set it to use the alternative output in the display properties; the card will default to use VGA, I believe.

I can't tell you the exact steps, but I can point you in the right direction:

    1. Right-click any where on the desktop
    2. Select 'Properties'
    3. Select the 'Settings' tab

Here is the configuration dialog for your display adapter. Somewhere on this window, or the one that appears when you press the 'Advanced' button, should be an option to allow you to switch your video output.
