No EAX..... Nope... NONE !!!

Hello Folks !!!

I am running Windows 7 x64 and I have an X-FI Extreme Gamer sound card installed.... However.... I have YET to be able to utilize EAX in ANY matter shape or form in ANY game. No joke. :cry

I have tried ALchemy and it says it can't even see my card. I have removed and replaced the sound card, I have removed and re-installed the drivers for it as well. :confused .... I really don't get it !!!!!! All of the other features I have tried like the "Crystalizer" and such do their thing, but EAX ???? NOOoooooooooooo........ SO, Does anyone have an idea as to what *might* be the problem here ???? I sure appreciate any info !!!

do you have an onboard soundcard on the motherboard? if so, you must disable it in the bios. that's all i got...
