No i7 for me this time around.

I've talked about getting one for quite a while but I just can't justify the cost!:cry What with getting a new 32" TV/monitor tomorrow, replacing my Z5300 THX 5.1 speaker system which is down to barely 3.1 as the center speaker is now buzzing at times and getting a second GTX260-216.

If I do decide to build a new PC, it will have a P5Q-Pro Turbo mobo as I have now w/a pair of PCI-E X16 slots, a Q8200 +RAM which will replace the X2 mobo I have in there ATM. I have everything else needed.

I'll wait until the price is right for the i7 as not going there will pay for the second quad w/GPU, the monitor and new quality 5.1 speakers, prolly Logitech again with the same money. I will gladly surrender the #1 spot on our team to you Bill as you should be able to beat 30K PPD easily with what you have/will get! :wine

 

Are you sure about that? 8 cores folding to their heart's content. It's sweet.
