    hi
i am new here and hope you can help me
i am to change my grahpic card to ZOTAC GeForce GT 440 2GB PhysX CUDA, PCI-Express 2.0, "Synergy Edition", DDR3, DVI, HDMI, VGA

but when i start my pc it wont start right ( black screen and no image)
seems to me that the grahpic card "start" but not harddisk

if i re insert the old grahpic card all works ok

i belive that it might be the power supply is to low
    recomended 300W but i only have 175W ( old one )

this is å pc i have buildt of old parts so i do not have the spec for it

any tips on how to get the new card to wokr would be nice

must upgrade your power supply sound like to me.

If you are not getting any video then it sounds like not enough power is going to the video card.

Did you go into the Bios and make sure that it was set to look for a GPU on the PCI-e slot? If you need a larger power supply, worry about that after you double check the bios settings, and then pick a day to swap out the PSU this weekend. You can pick one up on newegg.com.
