No internet ???

we just got a fujitsu siemens E620 i915
but I can't seem to get the internet to work
in the device manager there is no network adaptor listed
I tried to download intel(R) network connections but it says
no intel adaptors are present in the computer
the internet cable is 100% btw

I'm sorry I knw this must be one of the oldest inquiries .!!!!

 

What is your OS? Do you have any yellow exclamation marks in Device Manager?
Make sure onboard LAN is enabled in BIOS. According to these specs, you have a Broadcom BCM5751.

Go to this page. The driver is for XP.

Select Drivers and Downlads then in the drop down boxes select Desktop>Former Model Desktops>Scenic C-W series>Scenic E620 (i915G). Select Windows XP for the OS. The driver you are looking for in listed under LAN>BCM5751 NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet (Onboard on D1844-B2x, on D1844-A22, on D1844)

Broadcom Gigabit Ethernet Driver. There are two drivers. One is 33MB and the other is .27MB. The smaller driver uses the inf install through device manager. The larger one should also have a WIFI manager. This will be the easiest to setup. Read the PDF files first.
