    I am trying to clean up a friend’s computer. I cannot get the network adaptors to work. All the adaptors show a yellow exclamation in the device manager. When you look at the details for the adaptors they show an error "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be missing or corrupt. (Code 39)”

    I have tried uninstalling the network adaptors and reinstalling the drivers from the Intel website but no luck. I will attach the log files to this message. From here I do not know where to go. Any help is appreciated.

    Hi

    What Windows version and service pack is this PC using?

    Also what other yellow ! marks are in Device Manager?

    I would for the motherboard used re-install the chipset drivers, then reboot and then install the network adapter drivers, but only use the driver from either the PC makers for the make and model of PC say Dell, HP etc or the motherboad, in ASUS, Gigabyte etc

    Hi Halo,

    First thanks for reply =)

    My laptop is Windows XP Tablet PC Edition Service Pack 2. (Acer TravelMate C110)

    Yesterday i had a problem with cmd.exe and regedit.exe. When I want to open regedit or cmd explorer.exe crashes. Then I downloaded Norman Malware Cleaner. I opened in safe mode.

    The Norman log file of yesterday.

    Code:

    But after the reboot i saw no internet connection. I opened device manager. All of devices work good without network adapters. Network adapter say "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be missing or corrupt. (Code 39)”

    I uninstalled the drivers. I downloaded new drivers. But it didn work.

    Today I solved regedit and cmd problem. But also i have network adapters problem..

    I attach the Norman , Hijack, RSIT log files of today.

    Thanks..=)

    Hi

    As your malware scans show signs of malware infections still, I would pop over to our malware forum and before you post their, run this [/B][/COLOR] Please read and follow the following READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide and once finished start a new thread in the Malware forum and attach the logs as requested, also give brief synopsis as to your issue and also link to this one so that the malware guys and girls have background info.
