No post,display,sound

Can some one help me please, I have just put together a motherboard I had specs as follows.

Microprocessor
· Supports Intel® Pentium® 4 /Celeron® Dprocessor in an LGA775 package
· Supports FSB at 533MHz/800MHz
Note: 661GX/648C do not support 800MHz

I brought a new cpu celeron d 3.06gig and have put it in, connected every thing up. Turned power on for first time and nothing, cpu fan is going, psu 350w fan is going, cd rom starts, hdd starts. But no sound, post, or display monitor does not pick up single. If any one as any ideas that will be great
