Hi all, I know this is probably the thousandth thread like this. I tried a few but none seemed to work for me so I signed up and here I am.

Ok, I just installed a DFI Lanparty P-45 T2RS on my XP pro sp3 and I have no sound. I have the wizard popping up everytime I boot up. I have tried uninstalling the RealTek drivers before re-installing.

Also, looking over my Everest Report that I have (hopefully) attached to this post it looks like I have somehow overclocked my FSB and possibly my Core 2 Duo which I didn't mean to do. I couldn't get the BIOS to give me the proper choice of speed when I set it up. I did have help from my bro-in-law who is usually prety good at this stuff whereas, in case you haven't guessed by now, I am not.

Anyway, sound is the most important thing right now. Help?

Whoa! I did it. Got tired off waiting and now, being much less tired, was able to find the right instructions here. LINK

Funny thing is, when I went back to change my register to sp3, it was already set to 3. Anyway, it works, which is the main thing. Another thanks for musksnipe. :)
