According to your mother board manufacturer, this is your sound device:
    SoundMAX Digital Audio System
The ADI AD1980 AC'97 audio CODEC is on-board to provide 6-channel audio playback for 5.1 surround sound and over 90Db dynamic range.

How do you know that it was this driver he deleted? (Vinyl AC'97 Audio (WAVE))
    What OS are you using?

Can you do a restore back to when it was working?
Did you install any new apps?
Did you use a reg cleaner?

Go back to your motherboard site, click other, download and install the Via 4in1 for XP (your chipset drivers), and restart.
    Then do your audio driver.
