No sound (another thread)

    hello..i just brought a computer.. and it is used for gaming in a computer shop and so there are protection and so i format it using ms xp..after that there is no sound the comp say there is no drivers installed..by the way there is no drivers that was given to me.the owner said that it was lost and could not be found...do you know where i could get a driver for my comp?i think after i installed the drivers there will be a sound right?..the mother board is Winfast K8M890-8237 i attach the everest report..thanksss~!!

    I wasn't able to track that board's drivers down from a manufacturer site, but from what i understand it is actually a
    FoxConn K8M890M2MA-RS2H.

    Set a restore point.
    Install your chipset driver: ​
    K8M890M2MA-RS2H Chipset
    Then install your audio: K8M890M2MA-RS2H Audio

    Welcome to MajorGeeks.com :) A few domestics....

    You had 2 threads going - one in Hardware and one in Drivers attached to another member's thread. You should only start ONE thread for each issue you are having, otherwise it makes it impossible for those trying to help you to follow what advice has already been given elsewhere. Also anyone else having the same problem and reading your thread will not know advice has been given elsewhere.

    Also you need to always start your own new thread, not "hijack" another member's thread, even if the problems are very similar. You computer system could be very different and need a different solution, and hijacking a thread only serves to confuse the original poster.

    Thanks for your consideration of these helpful guidelines.

    ok ill try it..thanks for the help..and im sorry if i posted 2 threads i didnt that is wrong ... im new in this forum sites and im sorry im i confused other posters.or the owner of this thread...sorry!it will not happen again..thanks for the advice!~!~
