No sound, Asus.

Hey guys. I've just reinstalled( No idea what it's called on swedish, but you know.. when you're uninstalling EVERYTHING, and starting it all from the start ;p) After that, I installed windows XP/all the drivers I could find, but my sound still won't work. Any idea why? The computer is an ASUS V2 Vintage.
I've been searching the whole internet for help, but just can't find it.. I've managed to find out that it's something wrong with something called PCI, and I think that the sound card is builded inside the motherboard(I'm quite a newb on computers, so all the terms/words might be wrongly spelled/said)
I ran Everest, and here's the report on PCI(Multimedia)Hopefully I managed to do right ;o

Have you installed the Microsoft UAA update for HD audio (KB888111)? You can download it from here. Your Everest report doesn't say which service pack you're running, and this download is for SP1 or SP2 only and will NOT work with SP3.
